Lord Ganesha is one of the most famous and popular of all Hindu deities. He is the remover of obstacles and the protector of knowledge.
Ganesha is shown carrying an axe in order to conquer darkness, a sweet sesame ball depicting his love of sweetness and liberation, the goad which will help him remove obstacles from his path, and the universal Om symbol is shown on one of his palms.
This handmade batik wall-hanging is printed on a stone-washed background. It comes in a variety of colours.
The batik is approximately 100cm by 130cm.
