Simply place your herbs on a flat surface, cover with the grinder, press down on the top and watch as your herbs are wacked to pieces in mere seconds by the merciless ball bearing mechanism. The longer you press down on the grinder, the more ground your herbs will become; so no more than 2 seconds if you prefer a more course blend over a fine one.
