To use an oil burner, fill the bowl with water, add a few drops of essential oil, place a lit tealight underneath and allow the scents to develop. If the water is running low make sure to top it up.
It is very important that you do not leave a lit candle unattended. If all water has evaporated from the bowl it is very important that you extinguish the candle immediately.
