This statuette is made in resin, and cast on a wooden base. Buddha sits in the lotus position in front of a leaf, serene and blissful in his meditation.

His hands are in the Bhumisparsha Mudra - this gesture is also known as 'calling the earth to witness' and is the position he took when he achieved enlightenment.
